How to Connect Social Media Accounts
Why Connect? Connecting your social media accounts allows Zuke to post AI-generated content directly to your platforms, saving you time and streamlining your marketing workflow.
Overview
Social media integration is a key part of Zuke's marketing and business development features. Once connected, you can generate content with AI and post directly to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube without leaving the platform.
Supported Platforms
Currently, you can connect these social media accounts:
- ✅ Facebook - Business pages
- ✅ Instagram - Business accounts
- ✅ LinkedIn - Personal and company pages
- ✅ YouTube - Channels
How to Connect Your Accounts
Step 1: Go to Settings
From your dashboard, click on "Settings" in the navigation menu.
Step 2: Find Social Media Connections
In your settings, look for the "Social Media Connections" section. Here you'll see all available platforms you can connect.
Step 3: Connect Each Platform
Click the "Connect" button next to each platform you want to link. Follow the platform-specific steps below:
📘 Connecting Facebook
- Click "Connect to Facebook"
- Click "Continue" when prompted
- Log into Facebook if not already logged in
- Select your business page (e.g., "Vic3e Digital")
- Grant permissions for Zuke to post on your behalf
- Click "Done"
📷 Connecting Instagram
- Click "Connect to Instagram"
- Log into Instagram if prompted
- Select your business account (e.g., "Vic3e Digital")
- Authorize Zuke to manage your content
- Click "Connect"
Note: Instagram requires a business or creator account for posting via third-party apps.
💼 Connecting LinkedIn
- Click "Connect to LinkedIn"
- Wait for the page to load (LinkedIn may take a few extra seconds)
- Log into LinkedIn if necessary
- Select your personal profile or company page
- Grant posting permissions
- Click "Done"
Tip: LinkedIn takes slightly longer to load your businesses. Give it an extra second or two before clicking.
🎥 Connecting YouTube
- Click "Connect to YouTube"
- Select your YouTube channel (e.g., "Vic3e Digital")
- You may see a Google verification screen - this is normal
- Click "Continue" through the prompts
- Grant Zuke permission to upload videos on your behalf
- Complete the connection
Note: You might see verification messages from Google. These are standard security prompts - you can safely continue.
Step 4: Verify Connections
After connecting all platforms, refresh your page to ensure everything is properly connected. You should see all your connected accounts listed in the Social Media Connections section.
Using Connected Accounts to Post
Once your accounts are connected, you can post directly from Zuke. Here's a quick example:
Example: Posting an AI-Generated Image
- Go to "Create Images with AI" or "Alpha" section
- Generate an image (e.g., use AI Ideas or a custom prompt)
- Once the image is generated, you'll see posting options
- Select which platforms to post to
- Add a caption if needed
- Click "Post"
- The content will be published to your selected platforms automatically
Experimental Feature: Social media posting is highly experimental. While it works most of the time, occasional issues may occur. We're constantly improving the integration.
What Permissions Does Zuke Need?
When you connect your accounts, Zuke requests permission to:
- Post content: Publish images, videos, and text on your behalf
- Access basic info: View your pages, channels, and accounts
- Manage posts: Schedule and publish content
Zuke will NOT:
- Post without your explicit action
- Access your personal messages
- Change account settings
- Delete existing content
Troubleshooting Connection Issues
Connection Failed
- Make sure you're logged into the correct account
- Check that you have admin rights for business pages
- Clear your browser cache and try again
- Disable browser extensions that might block pop-ups
LinkedIn Takes Too Long to Load
This is normal. LinkedIn integration requires extra time to fetch your business pages. Wait 5-10 seconds before proceeding.
Can't Select My Business Page
- Ensure you're an admin of the page you want to connect
- For Instagram, make sure you have a business or creator account
- Check that the page is active and not restricted
YouTube Verification Screen
Google may show security warnings when connecting YouTube. This is normal for third-party apps. Review the permissions and click "Continue" if you're comfortable proceeding.
Account Shows as Connected But Posts Fail
- Disconnect and reconnect the account
- Check if the platform has changed its API permissions
- Verify your account isn't restricted or suspended on that platform
- Contact support if the issue persists
Disconnecting Accounts
Need to disconnect a social media account?
- Go to Settings
- Find Social Media Connections
- Click "Disconnect" next to the account
- Confirm disconnection
You can reconnect at any time by following the connection steps again.

Before Connecting
- Make sure you're logged into the correct accounts in your browser
- Have admin access to all pages you want to connect
- Close unnecessary browser tabs to avoid confusion
After Connecting
- Test posting with a simple image to each platform
- Verify posts appear correctly on each platform
- Save frequently used captions and hashtags
Security Tips
- Only connect accounts you actively manage
- Periodically review connected apps in each platform's settings
- Disconnect unused accounts to minimize security risks

Do I need to connect all platforms?
No, connect only the platforms you want to use. You can add more later.
Can I connect multiple accounts from the same platform?
Currently, you can connect one account per platform. Multi-account support may be added in future updates.
Will Zuke post without my permission?
No. Zuke will only post when you explicitly click the "Post" button after generating content.
Can I schedule posts for later?
Scheduling features are being developed. Currently, posts are published immediately.
What if I change my password on a platform?
You may need to reconnect that account in Zuke's settings after changing your password.
